My name is Jim Nishimura, and I am a Certified Residential Appaiser in Salem, Oregon.  I have been an appraiser for 15 years, and I especially enjoy working with my customers.  In addition to drawing from my extensive experience, I draw upon the homeowner's knowledge of his/her house, and for the more complex appraisals I'm open to gathering inputs from local realtors as well.  I don't like to work in a vacuum, and will use various resources before coming to a conclusion of value.

I also have experience as a Mortgage Loan Advisor (License: NMLS# 1128288) in California, and have worked closely with numerous realtors and real estate investors.  These experiences have helped me to see the big picture when I work on my appraisal assignments.

As a Certified Residential Appraiser, I am the sole proprietor of Nishimura Appraisals in Salem, Oregon and am FHA approved.  I am also very familiar with Greater Sacramento Area, and the San Francisco Bay Area. 
I provide appraisals for:

I am constantly trying to improve on my knowledge & skills. I have a passion for real estate, and am currently in training to become a real estate investor.

I have expertise in single-family residences and 2-4 unit Income Properties, and have done many appraisals in the Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, Solano, San Joaquin Counties, as well as the San Francisco Bay Area.
